Who you gonna call…..Ghostbusters!

Scheduled for release in October and then pushed back to coincide with the movies 25th anniversary and now maybe gone for good. Does anybody know exactly what is happening with this title?
It all looked so good, a new Ghostbusters film on the horizon and a game to match. The trailer simply informed us that the first rule of Ghostbusting is ‘Don’t cross the streams’, the format of the DS would no doubt provide many inventive ways of catching the ghosts and with both Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray reprising their roles it looked like a sure fire winner, but now the future is uncertain, is the game coming out at all or has it been zapped with corporate ectoplasm?
If you want to try and track it down Amazon still have pre-orders available here but be warned it’s got a 2009 release date, still better late than never…
