Wii gamers should prepare for a zombie invasion this Friday when Capcom releases Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop.
Based on 2006’s Dead Rising for the Xbox 360, the game sees you use the Wii Remote to shoot, slash and bludgeon the undead – as well as to shake off attacks – in a zombie infested shopping mall in the suburban town of Wilamette.
It’s probably not one for kids, but that said, it does mix zombie slaying with infectious humour. Playing the role of journalist Frank West and with a realistic shopping centre at your disposal, you can dress him in a variety of hilarious costumes and take on the undead using improvised weapons such as toy swords, footballs, umbrellas and frying pans.
You’ll also need to make use of the many restaurants in the mall to replenish your health as you look to ensure not only your survival but that of the other residents of the town who have also sought sanctuary in the mall.
